Life is a Highway . . .

And I'm jumping on for a nine day road trip. Normally, I do not enjoy traveling. I like going places, but I like being able to come home at night and sleep in my own bed. Yet, my summer plans definitely do not indicate this preference. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a road trip to Illinois. Yes, I was talked into it. And if it's a horrible trip and I end up hating my traveling buddy by the end of it, I'll have all of you to blame! ;-) Seriously, though, I am pretty sure it will be fun. Who wouldn't have fun visiting Nauvoo and the land of Lincoln? Without further ado, "So long! Farewell!" Until I return . . . or perhaps blog during the excursion compliments of the free high speed internet at the hotel room!)

(And just in case you are curious about the article mentioned in my last post, it's called, "Meekness--A Dimension of True Discipleship" by Elder Neal A. Maxwell. It's in the March 1983 Ensign, available for your browsing pleasure at www.lds.org!)

Have a great time and if it is at all possible, go to both evening Nauvoo shows. I hear they are fantastic, but I've only gotten to see one. Love ya.
